It’s Great to Be a Florida Gator

My beloved Gators won the BCS National Champiopnship.  I am so happy and so proud of them.  It was really tough, but it was well worth it in the end. And, it’s probably the best game I have ever gone too.  Maybe that South Carolina game when Spurrier came back to the Swamp with that blocked extra field goal or extra point is up there too.  I went to the game.  The SO was nice enough to get me a ticket.  And, I said that I would break up with him if he didn’t.  I have priorities.  Since I’ve been home, I haven’t done a lot of baking because my parents don’t have the baking utensils and I’m going back to Gainesville tomorrow.

I miss being in South Florida because I miss the culture and I miss being in this big city.  When I’m in South Florida and it takes me 30 minutes to get to the mall, I don’t care.  It’s a given going some place at least takes me 20 minutes.  30 miniutes in Gainesville is a LONG time.  Everything is so close in Gainesville.  30 minutes in Gainesville traffic is just toture.

I just wanted to do a little update and spread the great news of the Gator Nation.  Yay!!

Happy New Year

I know I’m a day late…but better late than never.  I didn’t make any New Year’s Resolutions.  I know I’m not going to keep it.  So, why try.  Very pessissmistic attitude, I know.  I haven’t baked anything in a while.  Well, I baked my mom banana bread.  I went to South Florida for about 2 weeks.  I didn’t get to see my family for Christmas, so here I am hanging out in my childhood home and playing with my two mini pins.  :happy face:  I get to eat everything I love to eat here.  Good dim sum, good Vietnamese and Thai food is what it’s all about.  The bad side is that I have to go to temple a lot more because of my mom.  But, at least I get to see my Gators kick the Sooners’ butt.  I miss the SO.  He could’t come with me because he had to work.  

Nothing much else going on though.
